Who I am
Hi, I'm Michael. I'm a systems and software engineer at Amazon in San Diego. I previously was an embedded software engineer at Aruba Networks. During my full-time work and internships at Aruba, I created and implemented a new API for network switch firmwares to use to more easily access line card data. I also created a new mode for their network switches to allow hub-like functionality, decreasing the amount of old hardware the testing teams had to rely on. I'm a proud alumnus of Cal Poly SLO -- I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.
In high school, I was the lead software and electrical engineer on the Sea Sweepers ROV team, which placed second internationally at the college level.
I am always looking for opportunities in research or in industry for embedded software engineering and cryptography -- if you have any opportunities or questions for me, please do not hesitate to reach out.
